VASTU
SYMBOLS & ITS IMPORTANCE:
Whenever
I visit some houses I found that people copy others and buy Vastu / Feng Shui
products, keep them in their houses to get the benefit, but the outcome is
somewhat different.
Each and every product of Vastu / Feng Shui produces some
positive or negative energies of that product. Pictures or paintings with
shining frames and small decoration pieces or big sculptures are good and
beneficial if they are placed in right directions. They work wonder in house.
Some
of the symbols are recognized throughout the world, because of their properties
or qualities. As the knowledge of man increased the meaning of these symbols
changed. But most common symbols which are unchanged and remained as it is e.g.
symbol of fire, symbolizes warmth, symbol of water shows power etc. the bottom
line is that these symbols do affect the life of man.
BAMBOO:
Bamboo
stands for nourishment and growth in Vastu / Feng Shui. It brings luck, growth
and wealth in house. It also bared the house from negative energies. Its
placing is in east, southeast or south.
Laughing
Buddha:
Of
all the Buddha symbols this is the most important as well as popular. This is a
symbol of Feng Shui and believed that this brings prosperity and happiness in
life.
It
should be kept about 30 inches above the floor on some stand or table. The face
should be towards main entrance. But there are some Buddha with different
colors. In that case these should be kept according to the color of the
direction.
The
Pagoda Tower:
The
other name is education tower. As the name says, it is linked with education.
The students who can’t study or concentrate, must keep it on the table. This
symbol will organize and maintain the mind. This derives from the Buddha Stupa.
This
should be kept in north east of student’s desk. This will then increase the
concentration and power to understand the complexity of studies.
Chinese
Coins:
As
the name reflects, these are Chinese coins and Chinese written on it. They are
tied with red thread. Usually these come as hangings but now in many forms
these are available. These coins supposed to bring prosperity, wealth and luck
in abundance.
They
can be hung inside of the door. They can also be kept in lockers or in pocket.
Chinese believe it to be the best gift to others for their prosperity.
Wind
Chimes:
Most
of the Indian houses, you will find them hanging. This is best to disburse energy. It is very
useful in the corner where the energy is stagnant. It also brings new
opportunities in life.
One
must use six, seven or eight rods wind chime. If made of metal these should be
hung in west, northwest or north. If of wood then these should be hung in east,
southeast or south, it depends.
White
Horses:
Whenever
these are placed these should be in pair only. Horses will stimulate your life.
These horses must be in galloping form with their right foot high in the air.
Being
its color is white; these should be kept in northwest. These will support your
finance and enhance your wealth.
So
you see that these paintings, articles, sculpture etc. carry great meaning in
life. These things generate positive energy in life and keep away the negative
energy.
But the most important thing one must know that
these things produce positive results only and only when these are energized
and kept in specific and particular direction, otherwise it will be only a
decoration piece.
